Kawachi-toge Pass is a popular hike for everyone. From the top of the pass, one can see Hirado Castle, the Dutch trading post and the memorial church of St. Francis Xavier, among Japanese temples. One can also simply enjoy the refreshing greenery of the green meadow in summer and the silver glittering grass fields in winter. It is a treat to enjoy the breathtaking, almost 360° view from this small pass.
