Uezu House is a traditional Ryukyu governor's house dating back hundreds of years (1726). It is the oldest house in Okinawa. The enclosed grounds contain gardens, a main house and annex buildings. The house allows you to learn more about Okinawan history and lifestyle, while enjoying a beautiful setting. An entrance fee has been set up to maintain and preserve the historic estate. If an employee is not available, it is customary to leave the fee in a tray at the entrance.
