A stone's throw from the National Museum of the Roman Legion lies the remnants of the thermal baths erected for the soldiers of the Second Legion «Augusta» (the name of Emperor Augustus who created it), arriving in Isca (former Roman name of Caerleon) around 74. C.C.
The complex was composed of rooms for hot and cold baths, exercise rooms, rooms with a floor heating system and an outdoor swimming pool.

Pour moi, le clou du spectacle de Caerleon! On en a vite fait le tour, mais l'agencement, la mise en place, font que l'on s'y croit.
