The building, built around 1600, is home to the town's oldest pub. The pub has opened a restaurant where you can dine by candlelight, under huge oak beams and in a cosy atmosphere. The menu offers relatively classic dishes, but prepared with care and at reasonable prices. There's a wide choice for those who want to go gluten-free or follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. You can also come just for a drink. The very pleasant place also offers beautiful rooms upstairs where you can spend a very good night.
