The origins of the Britannia Inn date back to the 17th century. Now run by the Botchett couple, this popular establishment on Aberdovey Harbour is renowned for its iodized cuisine, especially its crab salad. Other highlights include smoked salmon, mackerel and smoked haddock. Very good Cajun chicken for a change. When the sun's out, the terrace overlooks Cardigan Bay. As for the rooms, they are very pretty, cosy and comfortable, some with a superb view over the bay.
