A few minutes by car, you can reach the ruins of Dolwyddelan Castle, which offers superb views of the Snowdonia mountains. His stones were born in 1173 Prince Madog ap Iorwerth (Madog the Great), grandfather of Madog the Last, the latter who was the master of Shrewsbury, in 1215 then in 1232, and defeated the English army.
