Bangor is on «North Wales Coast Line» from Crewe to Holyhead. The train station is an obligatory crossing point for all trains towards the island of Anglesey and Ireland. Train every hour to Llandudno Junction, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Flint. Train every hour at Holyhead. Frequent trains to London, Cardiff and Birmingham. From the station, the main street Deiniol Road, which becomes Garth Road, goes up to the sea pier.
