It's a very popular attraction. You should visit Puffin Island (Ynys Seiriol in Welsh), the island north of Beaumaris, populated by these red-beaked birds with their distinctive general appearance. Seals can also be seen there. Please note that departures vary according to the number of bookings and the weather, so it is best to call and book in advance. In May-June, the escapade is all the more interesting as the puffins that populate the island by thousands feed their chicks. And they're absolutely not afraid.
