Located in the metropolitan's courtyard within the Kremlin, this beautiful painted church is also the most recent of the complex (built in 1693, after the death of Ionas who had commissioned all the others). Built in the Moscow "Narychkin" baroque style, it now houses an exhibition of the metropolitan's parade clothes on the second floor and the museum administration on the first floor. It stands out from its contemporaries in the rest of the courtyard both in its exterior architecture and in its original frescoes.
