Surrounded by a beautiful garden, this beautiful monastery was built on the shores of Lake Nero by Jacob, then Bishop of Rostov. It houses within its walls the Trinity Cathedral, built in 1688, which later changed its name to the Cathedral of Conception (Zatchatevskaya). It is distinguished by its narthex, supported by classical-style porticoes that give it the grandiose appearance of a Greco-Roman temple, and by its frescoes.
