The Cathedral of the Intercession, built in 1510-1514, is located within the convent walls and is topped by three domes, one of which, the middle one, is gilded. The cathedral houses the tomb of the Tsar's relatives: a wife of Ivan the Great, two wives of his son, the first wife of Peter I... It is connected with the church tower with the beautiful name of the Origin of the Virgins. During the revolution, it was a concert hall, which helped preserve it.
