Comfortable hotel with a café and restaurant where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, perfect for facing the Karelian latitudes. Situated in an imposing colonnaded corner building from the 1930s, it is a very good address in the hyper-centre of Petrozavodsk. The Severnaya is very representative of post-Soviet provincial chic: cosy rooms with neo-baroque decor, and the rooms have kept their period mouldings and beautiful volumes. The staff is very attentive, and the price-quality ratio is unbeatable.
