The Volgograd Arena will have a capacity of 45,000 seats and will override majestically the Volga, slightly upstream of the city center. The roof is supported by intertwined cables which, seen from above evoke a bicycle wheel, and give the interior of the galleries an atmosphere of the century. Built on the site of the old central stadium that was destroyed for the occasion, it will be the residence of the Rotor Volgograd, which is now evolving in second division after being one of the best clubs of USSR then Russia. Four chicken matches will take place.
