Cult among the local clientele! This oriental restaurant whose name means "almond" is located right next to the Astrakhanskaya Hotel in the city centre. The cuisine is Central Asian and Middle Eastern, the dishes are hearty but refined and really delicious. The different types of plov, in particular, are to be found here. Don't forget to check out the vypechka menu (roughly translated as "viennoiseries"), which is full of all kinds of leavened doughs typical of the steppe regions, sweet or savoury, filled or unfilled.
