Dating from the end of the 17th century, the Monastery of the Resurrection has three churches: the Cathedral of the Resurrection with its beautiful red porch and fragments of 17th century frescoes; a church with an arcade where the bells were kept; and, finally, a church with a refectory and a small chapel. At the end of the 1980s the monastery began a major restoration, which was finally halted due to lack of funds. Today, everything is still in a bad state.
