Coming from Soussaninskaya Square, a golden dome and grey roofs cap an elegant silhouette. It is in this convent (БОГОЯВЛЕНСКО-АНАСТАСИИН МОНАСТЫРЬ) that the icon of St. Theodore, the source of so many miracles, is located. The convent is the seat of the archdiocese of the diocese of Kostroma, and the archbishop himself celebrates the festive services.
The Cathedral of the Epiphany. It contains the icon of the Blessed Virgin Feodorskaya, famous for helping Alexander Nevsky save the city, and to whom Michael Romanov was baptized.
