In a refined, very Vologdian setting, this restaurant serves quality Russian and European cuisine in a 19th century atmosphere. In the evening, the atmosphere gets warmer and it is not rare that music groups (contemporary this time) liven up the evening. The restaurant is named after Nikolai Vasilyevich Vereshchagin, a native of the city who, at the end of the 19th century, produced what was once the best butter in the world: Vologda butter. This makes it the ideal place to try the many dairy specialties of the region!
