We often tend to forget that Novorossiysk, despite its appearance as a northern military port, is above all a city in southern Russia, at the gateway to the Caucasus. The Caucasian Terrace is one of those places that remind us of the geography of the place. In this excellent Caucasian restaurant the cuisine is very good and copious and many unusual dishes are à la carte. Great choice of local wines by the glass, some of them rather rare (the delicious Dagestan sweet wines)!
