FK SOTCHI

As we have already said, the city does not shine through its sporting results, with the true kraï clubs located in the regional capital in Krasnodar. Football is no exception to the rule: the current club of the city, the FK Sochi was created in 2013 on the ashes of the former Zhemchuzhina-Sochi, which had put the key under the door for financial reasons. More or less created for advertising reasons as a result of the 2014 Games, the club evolves in the third division in 2014/2015 before being relegated to amateur level and then to be briefly wound up in 2016. The FK Sochi is re-established the same year and returns to D 3 but retired from professional football for the 2017/2018 season.
