This beautiful museum is dedicated to the Soviet writer Nicolaï Ostrovskiy, whose last stay was the last one. Born in 1904, he returned to the ranks of the Bolshevik party early and participated in the civil war in the ranks of the Red Army. He retained injuries which would ultimately paralyse him. It was in the late 1920 s that he began his literary career in the purest style of "socialist realism". He published in particular And the Steel was Soaked, that all the Soviets read at school. Very popular with Stalin, he has built a house in Sochi. He spends the last four months of his life. The house is a fine example of the architecture of the 1930 s. The library is impressive. In the living room you can hear a moving recording of readings made by the author of his works. The garden is very pleasant and allows you to rest from the hustle and bustle of the city.
