A small unpretentious café in the centre, but go there to taste the khichiny, these small filled pancakes which are a regional speciality. They are called khichiny in Kabardino-Balkaria, but chepalgash in Chechnya, chudu in Dagestan, qutab in Azerbaijan, and we are not far from the Georgian khachapuris either. The Caucasus is a land of filled pasta! Of course, each version differs slightly from the next... Here, you will find the best of the city, even if the rest of the map is not necessarily worth the detour.
