XORROXIN CASCADE
Waterfalls of Xorroxin to discover after a walk towards a forest of beech and chestnut trees, the Bidasoa river takes its source there
To the north of Elizondo, Erratzu is home to the Xorroxin waterfalls, where the Bidasoa River has its source. Here you can take a pleasant 5.5 km walk to admire the natural charms of the place. The walk begins at the parking lot in Ubidea Street, not far from the sawmill warehouses. From there, the path goes south, through the orchards, to a beautiful stone bridge. Past the hermitage of Gorostapolo, a new bridge leads to a forest of beech and chestnut trees... Soon the trickle of water between mosses and lichens can be heard!
