MONFORT CASTLE
Renaissance château with guard house, dovecote and restored outbuildings, stroll to the garden with rose garden.
Self-guided exterior visits all year round on request. A magnificent Renaissance château, Montfort was once owned by the Le Marquetel family and is listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. Today, the gatehouse, dovecote and outbuildings have been restored. A lovely footpath leads around the property, where you can discover a sublime garden. In this enchanting setting, you'll find a rose garden with almost 400 rosebushes. A permanent exhibition on the village in the 1930s completes the picture.
