Elegance and refinement combined in all weathers in this parador installed on the inevitable Plaza de Armas. The imposing castle of Charles V with its medieval fortress décor is well worth a visit, even if you don't stay there. Built in the 10th century and remodelled in the 16th century by Charles V, it preserves a magnificent interior patio and superb period salons. The rooms, all different, are decorated in a medieval style for some of them and more modern for others. From the terrace, magnificent views of the sea and the French Basque coast.
