PALACIO EGILUZ
Square called house of Joan the Mad, daughter of the Catholic Kings, wife of Philip the Handsome of Austria in Hondarribia
Called the house of Joan the Mad, daughter of the Catholic kings, wife of Philip the Handsome of Austria and mother of Charles V... because Joan and Philip would have stopped in this house on their way to Toledo to be proclaimed crown princes. This magnificent building was classified as a historical monument in 1984. The facade is of classical style and we can see a beautiful central coat of arms. You can't visit the interior, but don't hesitate to take a tour of the neighborhood, the surrounding streets offer beautiful views.
