In the district of El Antiguo, a large Basque house 200 metres from the beautiful beach of Ondarreta, converted into a youth hostel. It offers a total of 100 places in rooms for 2 or 3 people and dormitories (up to 12 places). The sturdy beds offer basic comfort for young people and passing pilgrims. Practical: the kitchen at the disposal of the travellers and the proximity of a bus stop to reach the city centre!

This place is listed as a pelgrims hostel. Loods good for the imago but others can book months in advance. So pelgrims don't have a chance because planning is difficult. Now we had to walk another 10 km!!! It would be better to reserve 20 places in separate rooms for the pelgrims! So they can show up till 17.00 or so. Espescially in summer this would help.

Éramos dos peregrinas que nos alojamos aquí previa reserva. Recepción amable y personal muy atento. Nos indicaron lugares para comprar, cenar y desayunar cercanos y que estaban bastante bien. El albergue está en una zona residencial tranquila a pie del Camino y hay una farmacia cercana. Tuvimos un enchufe por cama. Los colchones y almohadas en muy buenas condiciones y sábanas limpias y recién planchadas. Nos tocó compartir habitación y baño solo con 4 personas más. Por temas de descanso durante el Camino e incompatibilidad de horario con los turistas, nos hubiera gustado que se distinguieran habitaciones de turistas y de peregrinos (horas de levantarse y de acostarse totalmente distintas), aunque sabemos que no siempre es posible. Apreciamos poder hacer el check in y out con bastante flexibilidad. En general está bastante bien prestado el servicio a los peregrinos! Lo recomendamos.

Es un sitio para dormir de paso ya que las habitaciones son compartidas lo que se alquila son camas. Un poco caro para ser un albergue. Pero bueno para una noche como peregrino está bien. El personal, muy atento, amable y simpáticos.

Buena atención, buenos espacios compartidos y sobre todo buenas cerraduras, me gusta que funcionen tan bien, se nota que son de buena marca ????
