Superb hotel-restaurant with roof terrace, near the old port, with rooms decorated in the spirit of the sea
Housed in a neoclassical building dating from 1917, this superb hotel was opened in 2018 in the Parte Vieja de San Sebastián, a short walk from the old port and the elegant promenade of La Concha. Its rooms - about sixty in total - are oriented towards the historic centre or the ocean, and offer a beautiful decor that pays homage to the marine spirit of Donostia. Its roof terrace, with a small swimming pool, offers wonderful views of the Concha River.... Don't miss his restaurant, La Jarana Taberna, where chef Ander González revisits the Basque tradition!

Driving up to the hotel may be challenging for someone not accustomed to driving in European city centers, but the instructions on the website cover exactly what needs to be done to get there and then the valet takes it from there.
Great location for foodies, walk on beach boardwalk or Old town. It’s a must must visit while in Spain!
The rooms are great. They have many smart features and a light panel next to the bed that controls the whole room. Super fancy bidet toilets. And heated floors in the bathroom tile?! I mean, come on.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful. From greeting you in the lobby with a glass of wine, to their very responsive WhatsApp feature. We went to the lobby to book a spa package for the next day at La Perla, and the clerk took down our preferences. Within 20 minutes I had confirmation texts for the spa package. Very awesome staff!
