IGLESIA DE SAN VICENTE
Old Gothic church with the altarpiece adorning the high altar and The Piety, a sculpture by the artist Jorge Oteiza
In the heart of Casco Viejo, it is the oldest church in the city, built in the first half of the 16th century in Gothic style. Inside, the magnificent 16th-century altarpiece crowning the high altar, the work of the sculptor Ambrosio Bengoechea, stands out, as do the cross vaults and the impressive stained-glass windows. On its side façade, observe the sculpture by the artist Jorge Oteiza, The Piety. During the Musical Fortnight of San Sebastián, many concerts are celebrated in its premises.
