MUSEO DIOCESANO DE SAN SEBASTIÁN
Museum that occupies one of the outbuildings of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Coro and exhibits 70 works covering a wide period
Inaugurated in 2016, this brand-new diocesan museum occupies one of the outbuildings of the Santa María del Coro Basilica, rehabilitated by the architects Rafael Moneo and Pedro Elcuaz. Six years after its closure, it replaces the old museum in the Amara district. The 70 works on display cover a broad period from the 10th century to the contemporary period, and are organised in three main sections: medieval art, modern art and contemporary art.
