SANTA CLARA ISLAND
High island with a small beach, accessible in summer with a maritime shuttle service, which appears and disappears at the rhythm of the tides
Situated in front of the Bay of La Concha, this small 48-metre high island is accessible during the summer period thanks to a sea shuttle service. In the 16th century, it served as a hospice for plague patients. The island, which has remained practically untouched, has only a lighthouse and a few picnic tables. In summer, many visitors come to enjoy its small beach with all the services (showers, bar, first aid post). About thirty meters long, it appears and disappears with the rhythm of the tides.
