PALACIO DE NARROS
Imposing house built in 1536, which was the summer residence of Isabel II in Zarautz
Built in 1536, this imposing house with Gothic reminiscences was the summer residence of Isabel II. The presence of the Queen made Zarautz a fashionable seaside resort, soon to be frequented by many aristocrats and members of Spanish royalty, such as Mary Christine of Austria and King Alfonso XIII. If you don't visit the interior, you can still admire its beautiful façade facing the beach, as well as the motto of its coat of arms: Zarauz antes que Zarauz (Zarautz before Zarautz). In winter, a pretty crib is installed there.
