Visit to see the church of Our Lady of the Assumption which preserves a painting of Zurbaran in Mutriku
The visit begins in Txurruka Plaza, where the statue of the hero Cosme Damián Churruca, who died in the Battle of Trafalgar, is enthroned. The 19th-century Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, which preserves a painting by Zurbarán, and the Baroque Galdona Palace (17th-century) are also worth a visit. In Calle Conde de Motrico we find the admirable Arrietakua Palace (18th century) with its delicate wrought iron balconies. Right next door, the Zabiel Palace has a beautiful Baroque façade. Finally, on the way up to Atxukale you can enjoy a wonderful view of the port.
