LAGA AND LAIDA BEACHES
The beaches of Laga and Laida are two jewels of the Urdaibai Reserve, sheltered between land and sandy beaches
Four kilometres separate the beaches of Laga and Laida, two jewels of the Urdaibai reserve, sheltered between overhangs and sand spits. Laida is the longest beach on the Ría de Mundaka. At low tide small natural pools are formed here, which are a delight for children. The wilder Laga beach is nestled at the foot of Cape Ogoño. The swell is stronger there than elsewhere, which is why it is particularly appreciated by surfers.
