The construction of this tower dates back to the 15th century, while the adjoining palace dates from the 17th century and the clock from the 19th century. This architectural complex, which overlooks the Urdaibai estuary, has been restored to house the "Ekoetxea Urdaibai" biodiversity centre, an educational area consisting of a permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions.
