Antxoa Taberna is a tavern located on Bilbao's Plaza Nueva. It offers you a pleasant and authentic setting, with a marine atmosphere, to enjoy good food with traditional flavors. With its navy colors, nautical instruments, photos and various marine décor elements, the establishment invites you to travel. Here, the quality of the produce is evident in every dish. Specializing in Cantabrian anchovies, the house offers them in all their versions: breaded, salted or with anchovies. You'll learn how to prepare these fish, which are then presented in preserves, pintxos or gildas. Sandwiches are also available on site. To accompany your aperitifs, you can, for example, opt for the tasting table of homemade anthoas, anchovies with cheese or smoked anxoas with butter and cheese. The restaurant also offers other tasty dishes such as salads, potatas bravas and fried artichokes. A good address to share!
