IGLESIA DE SAN VICENTE DE ABANDO
Church with baroque and Renaissance influences built between the XVI and XVII centuries, which depended on the municipality of Abando
Built between the 16th and 17th centuries, this church with Baroque and Renaissance influences once belonged to the municipality of Abando, which was annexed by the city of Bilbao in 1870. Located in front of the Albia Gardens, it has a characteristic "hall church" architecture, composed of several vessels of equal height communicating with each other and supported by large columns. The temple preserves the tomb of the poet Antonio de Trueba, who died in Bilbao in 1889.
