IGLESIA DE LOS SANTOS JUANES
Small parish located at the intersection of Ronda and Cruz streets, a fine example of the Baroque style of the seventeenth century
Built from 1622 to serve as the church of the Jesuit College of San Andrés (now the Basque Museum), this small parish is a fine example of the Baroque style of the 17th century. Located at the junction of Calle Ronda and Calle Cruz, in the heart of Casco Viejo, the church was meticulously restored after the 1983 floods, preserving beautiful Baroque altarpieces in its various chapels. The high altar, in Churrigueresque style, dates from the end of the 17th century.
