The Bizkaia fronton with its capacity of 3,000 spectators is the largest fronton in Spain, together with the Navarra Arena

Inaugurated in 2011 in the Miribilla district, the Bizkaia pediment is housed in a large slate building with geometric lines, designed by architects Javier Gastón, David Gastón and Marcelo Ruiz. With a capacity for 3,000 spectators, it is the largest pediment in Spain, together with the Navarra Arena pediment. It also has a trinquet with a capacity for around 500 people. Throughout the year, Basque pelota championships are held here: check the programme on the website to see a tournament.
