La Galea offers a beautiful walk along the coastline of Getxo, with panoramic views of the port of Abra

Often compared to the white chalk cliffs of Normandy, the Galea cliffs, formed under the sea over a period of 60 million years, offer a superb walk along the Getxo coastline. The site preserves several remarkable sites, including the La Galea fort, a fine example of 18th-century military construction, the Aixerrota mill, built in the 18th century, and the cemetery. The ocean views from here are extraordinary. A must-see.
