MUSEO PLASENTIA DE BUTRÓN
Museum retracing the maritime history of the small city through a permanent exhibition on two floors
The museum is housed in a sixteenth-century building of ashlar, similar to a tower, which once housed the Casa Consistorial (Town Hall). It traces the maritime history of the small town through a permanent exhibition on two floors. There are many model ships on display, the oldest dating from the 15th century, as well as navigational instruments and various documents: nautical charts, photographs of ships, astronomical treatises, etc.
