FERRERÍA EL POBAL
A gothic style building with an exhibition on mills
It is one of the most representative industrial complexes in Bizkaia. It is made up of several spaces: the forge, where iron ore was once worked to turn it into metal; the flour mill, which is still in working order; and the Salazar Palace, a late Gothic building from the 16th century, which houses an exhibition on mills. Although the origin of the forge dates back to the 16th century, most of the equipment on display today dates back to the late 19th century. Every Saturday at noon, demonstrations are offered.
