MUSEO DE LAS ENCARTACIONES
Museum with several rooms that trace the history of Encartaciones and its inhabitants
Very informative about this little-known part of the region, the museum has several rooms that retrace the history of Encartaciones and its inhabitants. It is housed in the Casa de Juntas de Avellaneda (House of Assemblies), which was for a long time the seat of local political life. From the sixteenth century onwards, representatives from each valley met here to deal with various common issues. The coat of arms on the façade of the building dates from 1635.
