Waterfall of 100 m height in Legutio with a beautiful view of the valley and Mount Izarra
From Murguia, take the BI-2521 to the village of Goiuri-Gujuri. There, a 100-meter-high waterfall carries the waters of the Altube River into the valley. It can be seen from a viewpoint that offers a beautiful panorama of the valley and Mount Izarra. According to legend, this waterfall is none other than the shepherd Urjauzi, who was transformed into a waterfall by a lamia - a Basque mythological nymph with webbed feet - for stealing his mirror. A magic mirror that grants all wishes. Urjauzi in Basque means waterfall.
