The Artium is the Basque Museum of Contemporary Art, part of the very rich contemporary art collection of the Vitoria Museum of Fine Arts. Located just outside the old quarter, it boasts one of the finest collections of 20th-century Basque and Spanish art, including sculpture, surrealism and pop art. Works by Picasso, Miró, Tápies, Canogar, Oteiza, Ibarrola and others are also on show. A recommended cultural stopover!
