Housed in a 1900 fortress-like building, this hotel pays homage to the great Samaniego fabulist. For the record, the first owner of the premises, Mr Tapia, is the man who founded the famous Chimbo soap brand, one of the oldest companies in the Basque Country, based in Bilbao. Each room is designed according to the theme of a fable with period furniture, each one retaining a strong identity. Nice address.
