BODEGAS CASA PRIMICIA
Beautifully restored underground winery in Laguardia definitely worth a visit to learn more about wine making
The visit of this underground cellar, 9 metres deep, is quite exciting. It is located in the oldest civil building in Laguardia. In the 15th century, the church received the tithe, a tax that was imposed on farmers, corresponding to a part of their harvest. As vines were mainly cultivated in the surrounding area, the place naturally evolved into a bodega. Beautifully restored, Casa Primicia is well worth a visit, both to learn more about winemaking and to appreciate the beauty of the place.
