SANTO TOMAS APOSTOL CHURCH
Church featuring a portal chiselled like a Plateresque altarpiece with depictions of the apostles and scenes from the Calvary.
The 16th-century building dedicated to St. Thomas has three large Gothic naves. The south portal is carved like a plateresque altarpiece with representations of the apostles and scenes from Calvary. Its massive exterior contrasts with the elegance of its arches and interior ribs. Restoration work on the façade in 2011 will have cost more than €700,000: a proper rescue of Haro's only national monument.
