Protected areas offering a grandiose show thanks to the geysers of 20 m height
Located in protected areas, the bufónes are crevices and chimneys dug in the rock by erosion. The sea rushes into them with violence, creating a draught and, at the surface, the spectacle is grandiose. The sea water is pulverized at a height of some 20 m, giving rise to geysers of sorts. They are called bufónes, because of the violent noise they make. These geological formations are unique to the region. To see them, autumn and winter are the best seasons, when the sea is rough.
