La Ciudadela is strikingly original from the outset. Three atmospheres stand out: wine bar, typical Castilian restaurant and, our favorite, the "private" lounges, a kind of cellar with sandy, weathered walls, reminiscent of Mexican casas. And of course, the menu features innovative dishes that respect local tradition, each more delicious than the last. Try the duck breast with red fruit sauce or the pulpo a la parilla. There's also a fine selection of tapas to share.
