MUSEO CASA NATAL DE JOVELLANOS
Museum dedicated to Asturian art of the 19th and 20th centuries with a collection of 3,000 works
This late 16th-century palace house houses a museum dedicated to Asturian art of the 19th and 20th centuries whose collection includes more than 3,000 works. A visit is worthwhile for two reasons: the building was owned by the renowned artist Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos - some of his furniture and objects are on display - and the building is located in the heart of the Cimavilla district, in the old Romanesque and medieval citadel.
